Know a company that deserves better health insurance? Introduce us. We'll pay you.
When an eligible company you introduce gets a quote from Decent, we pay you, whether or not they buy. You make the intro; our licensed team does the rest.

What you'd earn
When they get a quote
For companies with 5 or more employees that already offer a health plan. See the rules.
How it works
Introduce us
Email the company's owner or benefits lead with nick@decent.com copied. Or send them decent.com/quote and tell us you did.
We quote them
A licensed Decent broker talks with them and sends a written quote. You don't need to discuss plans or prices.
You get paid
We pay the flat fee for your state once they have their quote. Buying is up to them, and it doesn't change your fee.
By state
The rules
- One fee per company. We pay once per company, to the first person who introduces it. Companies already working with Decent, or already talking with us, don't count.
- Companies with a health plan and 5 or more employees. When we quote it, the company has at least 5 benefits-eligible employees, owners included, and already offers a health plan through an insurance company, a PEO or an ICHRA. We confirm the plan from its renewal notice or a recent invoice.
- Timed to their renewal. If the company isn't ready to look until its plan renews, we quote it before that renewal and pay you then. Your introduction stays credited to you for 12 months.
- Paid on the quote, not the sale. The fee is the same whether the company buys, and we never take it back.
- Introductions only. Insurance law lets only licensed brokers discuss plans, prices and terms, so leave those to us.
- Not for the company's own people. We can't pay anyone who owns, runs or works at the company you introduce.
See all program rules
- Some people we can't pay. California law bars us from paying members of the California bar, and we don't pay Covered California enrollment counselors or community enrollment groups.
- US only, and both states count. You and the company both need to be in the US. If you're in different states, the lower fee applies.
- Washington. If you live in Washington and are covered by a plan Decent placed, we can't pay you a fee.
- Getting paid. We pay within 30 days of the quote. We ask for tax details only if your fees reach $2,000 in a calendar year, the IRS reporting threshold.
- Disagree with a decision? Write to nick@decent.com and we'll take another look.
- Changes. We may change or end the program at any time. Introductions made before a change are paid under the old terms.
